(Translated by Google) Had a first cupping massage from Meg. The reception, explanation and treatment were all very nice. I was totally relaxed and felt very light and loose afterwards. You really feel that something is happening to your body. It was the first time but definitely worth repeating! I would recommend it to everyone.

Cupping Therapy and Massage

Welcome to Healthgenic!

Meg is our head therapist with over 5 years experience in Traditional Fire Cupping, Moving Cupping Massage and Plasma Fibroblast.

Meg is from Greece but moved to Amsterdam over 10 years ago with her family. She speaks three languages; Greek, Dutch and English.

On behalf of Meg + the team we always welcome you to the clinic in Amsterdam with a friendly smile and a cup of tea!

See below some information on the cupping technique we do:

To perform cupping, Meg places glass, electric, or silicone cups on the skin, creating a vacuum-like seal. There are several techniques to create this vacuum. She uses dry cupping and moving cupping. When the cups are placed on the skin, the superficial muscle layer is pulled into the cup, which stimulates blood circulation, breaks adhesions and creates a pathway for toxins to be pulled out of the body by the lymphatic system. Cupping can affect tissues up to four inches deep - affecting blood vessels, fascia, muscles, and scar tissue. It is used to treat pain, relieve scar tissue deep in muscles and connective tissues, and reduce swelling and muscle knots. Also, as with many adjunctive treatments, cupping is believed to minimize circulating toxins by drawing them into the skin where they are more easily removed.
